Lavender  

Lavender is known as the most versatile of the essential oils. It has uplifting, soothing, inflammatory, balancing, calming, antiseptic, and regenerative properties. This makes it great for insomnia, anxiety, headaches, acne, hyper-pigmentation, eczema, menstrual irregularities, and muscular aches and pains.

Usage

Use 4- 8 drops as a diffuser oil. Dilute 8- 10 drops if used for a bath. For direct skin contact, put 3-5 drops of oil in a teaspoon or dilute the oil in a 15 ml carrier oil/cream/lotion. For direct inhalation, breathe straight from the bottle, while making sure it does not come in contact with the nose or mouth.

Composition

100% lavender essential oil.

Peppermint           

Peppermint has a fresh fragrance and is a favored oil when it comes to digestive ailments such as heartburn, flatulence, and indigestion. It also has antiseptic and antispasmodic properties, which is useful in relieving cough and decreasing mucus. It’s cooling effect property on the skin helps decrease skin inflammations, cold sores, and eczema. It is also highly effective with travel sickness, vertigo, and nausea.

Usage

Oil of Oregano           

The oil of Oregano is well known for its capacity to lower cholesterol and aid in weight loss. It is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial. Its antibiotic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, make it great against cough, heartburn, bloating, toothache, and skin conditions such as acne and athlete’s foot.

Usage

Use 4- 8 drops as a diffuser oil to sanitize the air. Dilute 8- 10 drops if used for a bath. For direct skin contact, put 3-5 drops of oil in a teaspoon or dilute the oil in a 15 ml carrier oil/cream/lotion. For relief of respiratory infections like sinus infections, colds, flu, sore throat, and oral infections, mix 4 drops in a glass of warm water. Mix it solely with the water or you can add honey. A warm feeling is normal. You can do this daily for about 5 to 7 days.

Composition

It contains 80% Carvacrol. Oil of Oregano is blended in 1: 4 ratio with fractionated coconut oil.

Tea Tree                                               

Tea Tree gives off a camphorous scent and a clean feel. It is a powerful antiseptic, is also hypoallergenic, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal. This makes it efficient with combating colds and flu, gum disease, congestion, and sore throats. It also encourages open skin to heal while fighting against infection, which makes it great for acne or sunburns. It also helps calm diarrhea, gastroenteritis, and mouth ulcers.
